It wasn't the ebst of your work, but it was very nice. Very calm, some of it sounded too much computer generated rather then actual music, oh well. The thing that bugged me a little is the fact that it sounds like it loops over and over. But, all in all, very calm, soothing, anything else that means to be relatively calm. Love your work.

Ya all is computer "generated" (haha I really don't like the word generated in that context- "made on a computer" makes it seem at least a little bit creative :P) - but it's still actual music! It's not like... false music or something :(
Thanks for the review!!

Very cool sounding, i liked the echo in the background the most because it gave that cold sounding echo in a cave or mountainous region etc etc... Hmm, It's a very good length, I think you put in an amazing amount of effort. Although i know very minimal of music, i still enjoy the sounds. Love your work, i will always continue to love it.

Smooth, industrial beats. Title fits just about perfectly, good beat, clear sounds.... i don't have much else to say.... The thing that distracted me is the base. It might be my sub-woofer acting up but either way, i would've liked it better if the base was louder giving it that darker aura... Must be me. I can most definitely see you in some sort of music career or at least have some of your pieces of 'art' featured somewhere important.

although sounding lively, the piano sounds almost too perfect. This creates a more fraudulent image of a fake piano sound. It's very nice but your bass note needs to be louder. The piano sounds very vibrant.. yes but your notes and perhaps piano types should vary slightly. very nice melody, love your work. good luck in the future :)

Author's Response:
Yeah, I do know that it sounds mechanical, but in the same respect I think that's partially how I wanted it to sound. If I wanted a real piano I'd play one xD Mostly, I was focusing on the flow of the song, because I felt that's what I needed to work on next. Yes, maybe I should focus on everything, but sometimes I think it's better to pick things to work on. Louder bass? Hmm, I actually toned it down. I like the quiet bass because the focus, in my opinion, is the melody. Speaking of which, glad you liked it :D
I still have lots to work on, but this is a good step. Glad you could review, and thanks!

it was quite nice because it came with a back story, more to read while i listen. The great thing about this is that it sounds completely original to me. The problems is that it's very hard for me at times to listen to a song without instrumental/sound/trance (etc.) variations. In order for the song to seem complete and save yourself time for more ear candy; you should shorten the length. It's great but it just seems like a long loop ^-^;. The fact that it's piano sounds quite nice but it sounds a little fake, you should try the real thing sometime (if haven't presently) and you might also want a bass note or sound so that the song doesn't sound completely solid. Very nice job and quite calming, i wish you much luck for the future and send me another note for more reviews ;).

Thank you...and that backstory was intended to be read due to the...problem that could insue without. Good! :D That is what I wanted...remember, I started out with something that was completely my own piece, got stuck, and found this one due to a friend of mine. What I did was work with that piece to create this...which is the reason I was surprised anybody would know that this was indeed the "Faraway Promise" song from Xenogears massivly remixed to sound not at all like the original. Anyhow, I have been thinking of putting more instruments into this (remix the remix?) and make it into something that is more orchestral and that you can listen to without being bored. I am wondering if I have enough time left to do all the projects I want to do as I will be leaving Dec. 11th and probably won't be back on for at least 6-8weeks. But I will see what can be done...and that is a promise well made I think.
I hope ^^,

not your greatest but i enjoy the mysterious aura vibe from it. I didn't find this to be very appealing in the music category but it would definitely fit a Halloween theme kinda short film. Speaking of which, Halloween is soon :). Great song, completely smooth but the actual music should of been a little more vibrant as is mixes through the other sounds (wind, scratchy sounds etc). Great job anyhow.

Thnx for the review again. This is more ambience in it's "true" form; background music.

i can imagine someone cooking a regular breakfast randomly listening to this song. To be exact on what to make, pancakes are the ones your gonna bake. I really enjoy this trance song and i must fav. it. I'm sure plenty of effort has gone into this and i like that. Everything seems on place but you need a more vibrant note to signify exactly when the beat is and the begginning needed more base. Apart from minor incidents, this song is great and cheerful-like. Have a nice day

slightly dull for the beginning but it picks up extremely quick. For some reason though, i seem to lose track of this song when listening to it. Perhaps i should wait longer before reviewing the next song, yes? Great job and i really enjoy your effort. Still got plenty to review but it's what i do, and it's what i love ~ <3

Author's Response:
If you couldn't keep track of it then I guess you were just doing something else as you listened to it or similar. Thanks again!

maybe repetitive isn't the right word but this song seemed to run on forever. The length was quite un-necessary. the fact that it changed so little for the first minute or two sort of bothered me but it gradually grew onto me. The fact that it picks up pace a little more was slowly reaching unto me but in the end i just lost conciousness and thought into this song. I think it lacks vibrantness to grab the listeners attention wich could lead to a negative effect on your overall mark. I still think this song would be nice (if i had minimal distractions around my listening station.). Thanks for the ear candy ;)

Author's Response:
Yeah. It's repetitive, but there's changes in the main melody (aka the two leads) all the time. -might- mess some more with it.

the claps of the drum stick (or so it seemed) didn't seem required. Either replace it with another percussion echo sound or leave it how it is. I guess it was amusing, original as always but maybe a little too slow this time. I enjoyed the long seemingly endless smooth notes but any matter, this is amusing just like the next 30 or 40 songs i must review ^-^;
